Orlando Magic forward Mo Wagner learned about trash-talking his opponents the hard way when he was a rookie, as he relayed in a hilarious story. In an appearance on “Pardon My Take,” Wagner recounted how he accidentally trash-talked Kevin Durant while Wagner was still a rookie with the Los Angeles Lakers. As Wagner recounts, he knew immediately that he had made a big mistake. “I talk a lot, obviously. I’ve kind of put that back a little bit, but one of the first times I matched up against Kevin Durant, all of a sudden, I’m on the court with him, Wagner said. Kevin Durant guards me, and I think he’s not taking me seriously at all. He doesn’t even know who he was. I’m on a pick-and-pop three and he fouls me. I didn’t realize it was him and turned around and was like ‘Yeah, you can’t guard me.’ “I have no credibility whatsoever at this point. It’s Kevin Durant I just talked smack to.
