This article aims to draw a critical research on the genealogy of individualism that crosses the liberal conception of law and as a result of human rights. Concomitantly, the thesis of this essay is that alterity of the other is the objective criterion for the right, which is a right of the other. In this perspective, I have, in the first instance, the responsibility to respect and enforce the rights of others, as originally interpellation all right. Este artículo tiene por objetivo trazar una investigación crítica sobre la genealogía del individualismo que atraviesa la concepción liberal del derecho y como consecuencia de los derechos humanos. Concomitantemente, se defiende la tesis de que la alteridad humana del otro es el criterio objetivo para el derecho, que es un derecho del otro. En esta perspectiva, el yo tiene, en primera instancia, la responsabilidad de respetar y hacer valer los derechos del otro, como interpelación originaria de todo derecho.
