Pokémon Sword and Shield let players combine two different fossils, which always result in an abomination of a monster that shouldn’t exist. And yet, the Pokedex entry for each one comes up with a justification for how these Pokémon might have lived in ancient times. It’s clear that the Pokedex cannot actually be trusted.
