Hikaru Nakamura will take on Levon Aronian in the Berlin FIDE Grand Prix final after both players comfortable drew on demand in the second game of their semi-finals. Levon managed to equalise fully in 14 moves against Leinier Dominguez and made a draw while more than an hour up on the clock. Richard Rapport at least kept his game against Hikaru Nakamura tense, but the US star found all the right moves until Richard, who had played a marathon 20 games in under a month, accepted a draw on move 30 rather than trying to fight for a win from a worse position.
